How many times have you asked your spouse/partner/friend/mum/dad/sister/brother/child to stop looking at their phone/ipad/laptop and just listen to you because you're struggling/excited/sad/happy or just need to feel connection - the most basic human emotional need?
Ouch, I have asked and have been asked - MANY times.
I went to the hair salon recently and the girl said,
"Where's your phone?"
"I didn't bring it."
"OMG I would be going crazy if I didn't have my phone on me all the time."
"And I'd be going crazy if I did."
This is such a powerful message.
Thank you Gary for reminding us to leave the technology behind and experience life.
