Last night the official
Canadian kick-off of LTP was shared with the Vancouver Rose Society
members for a highly entertaining South Africa themed evening. Thank you to the
Rose Society for receiving my book and I with open arms.
I'd also like to thank Samantha
White, Stylist and Wardrobe Consultant for styling me for the event
- she makes miracles happen!
And with the release of the book I'd like to
acknowledge eternal gratitude to some really special people and organizations.
In Africa: Roger Wynn-Dyke of The
Expedition Project, Dayne Davey of Edge of Africa,
Kim and Hein at Umkhondo Big Five Volunteer Project, Ryan Roberts, The Drill Sergeant and
Kittibon who had the tenacity to slap me every day until I finally woke up and
Melanie, my kindred spirit and literary mentor.
To the people who have brought this book to you,
Maryann Karinch of the Rudy Agency, whose patience goes unmatched, and Lynn
Price, Editor and Acquisitions Director of Behler Publications; what an honor
that you believed in me enough to publish my first book, thank you.
